Hi green card family, any one ever been in a situation where they asked for their spouse birth certificate and they don’t have one?? My husband came to thé US as a refugee and later became a citizen. The thing is he came when he was young and with the war in his country, we don’t think he has a birth certificate. The date of birth he has now was just approximated when he came to the US. Are there any other documents we can submit in place of birth certificate or any other procedures to take??
