Reaffirmed Case
I got my VISA rejected under 221(g) last year(Dec 2006)with similar letter as posted by Geetha below, from Chennai Consulate. I got case status update E-mail from USCIS stating the following:
"Current Status: Case was shipped to the Department of State for visa processing.
"On June 5, 2007, we shipped this approved or
re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please
contact them directly".
This happened in June first week, but till now, did not got any further information neither from USCIS nor from Chennai Consulate.
Does anyone got such status after 221(g) refusal.Please shar your experience, if so.
