I have been very impressed with the process of the visa. Yes, it was a bit exhaustive but I believe they are doing the right thing. The swiftness of my approval also shows that genuine candidates don't need to worry.
In my visa interview, the VO looked at her screen for quite some time. And then she started with questions for my wife. Right then I knew that my visa has been approved.
Questions for my wife:
How long have you been married?
Was your marriage love or arranged?
How did you meet?
Questions for me:
Where did you do your college from?
Which subject was your masters in?
Which company are you joining?
Which City?
What salary?
Overall the VO was very nice to us. Then she said have a nice day and returned us the i-797 copy and we left. She did not ask for any documents. I feel sad for all the trees for all the paper used in printing so many documents.
