Reentry permit
Hi I know this may not be the right place to post about it but if anyone has any experience with it please let me know. My friend has a greencard and she was out of the country for 5 months. She doesn't live here anymore she only lived for 2 years but now she moved back. She wants to apply for citizenship but later when her 30 months are complete. Anyways, they said at the airport when she came this time that she needs a reentry permit but she is only here in the US for 5 more days. My question is, does she really need it? She was back before 6 months but they still gave her a warning. Should we apply for the reentry permit or do you guys think she would be fine? I mean she didnt stay outside for more than 6 months.
