Regarding the petition filed for I130
Hi There
If any one can guide on this a bit.Our petition for immigrant visa was files in May 2005 and in November 2009 we got the letter of notice for the approval of the application and now sent to the National visa center or Department of state.Since than after we have not heard anything from them ,no email notification or no further instruction to be taken.I have heard after the Post Decission activity the interview call is being sent in the home country where after they get the approval for green card means after the interview at the US Embassy .
But its now nearly three years and nothing has come up or when we check online on USCIS website putting our receipt number but the status since Nov 2009 in on the post decission activity ,so what can be this and when are the chances for us to get a call for the interview or what will be the next step or how long still it is going to take more for us to get our green card.
Please if any one knows about this and can guide us and is this a routine procedure or it is particualrly taking long in our application ,please guide.
