I appeared H1B interview in Dec 2005 and was queried to drop some additional dox. After dropping in VFS, my visa was rejected. I got a letter stating that the dox which i produced does not match the details i elicited in interview and my application is no more with chennai consulate. I got passport, 2300/- DD in return.
After a month, I got a 221G form, I-797 from consulate requesting to send my passport, 2300/- DD, DS156,157, I797 for visa issual. After dropping, I got visa with in a 10 days.
Its a paculiar situation. I am really happy.
