Renunication process taking longer
I had applied for renunciation by mail via CKGS in Sep 2018 to the SF India consulate. I got the receipt with the acknowledgement dated Sep 24th. The status on tracker from CKGS says "under processing in the embassy", now for more than a month. Is it common for it take this long? Calling CKGS at the help desk line routes it to the automated status reader and when navigating to the customer support, the phone line gets disconnected. So I am left with no idea of when I may get the surrender certificate :(.
