Request for evidence letter
Hello, I filed for marriage based greencard about a year ago,(we have been married for MORE than 2 years now) I have a lawyer and we filed all the applications, after that we got a RFE for my husbands latest tax return so we sent that, I then changed office since we moved to another state and I was ready to be scheduled for an interview before covid 19 and now it just says interview got cancelled.
I already got my EAD card and everything in september.

a couple of days ago I got a letter saying: On april 20, you submitted your i-130, we are writing to inform you that we need more information to make a decision on your case, And then it says that I should submit evidence such as pictures, joint lease , bank statements etc.

at first I thought this meant that my interview may be voided, but since it seems to be regarding my i-130 instead of the i-485 im assuming its not? my lawyer said that by me submitting this now, it will make my interview go faster when they open again. My lawyer also said that none of their other clients has got this letter.

Anyone has any idea why they asking me to submit this before the interview? do you think there is a chance my interview will be voided?
