Requested SR and received this!
Hi guys
I’m super confused about “priority date”
My spouse was a greencard holder when he filed I-130 on Feb 2017. I-130 approved on September 2018 and then we filed I-485 on October 2018. NVC sent a letter on January 2019 that visa is now available as I am a chinese citizen. My spouse became US citizen on July 2019. We told them about citizenship but they said it doesn’t matter anymore since I485 has been already filed.
Now here is the question: I requested SR on February 2020 and received this:
“ Recently, you notified USCIS that your priority date is current. When your priority date becomes current, your case automatically returns to active processing and will be worked in the order in which it was received. Once further action is taken, a notice will be sent to the address of record.”

Guys, what do they mean that the priority date is not current?!!!
