Returning with Advance Parole
My AP was approved on 1/6/17. Two weeks ago I shared my story here. I originally had my flight for 1/22/17 , but I canceled because I was afraid Trump will cancel daca while I was in my home country(Ecuador). I decided to leave on 1/24/17. I made a stop in Panama city and from there took another flight to Quito Ecuador. When I came back 1/31/17 I as well made a stop in Panama city. I had to pass immigration in Ecuador. The only questions the immigration agent ask me was "How long did you stay?" When I made stop in Panama City I had to pass through security once again. Before I aboard the plane I was asked to show my residence or U.S passport which I showed my AP. I was able to aboard on the plane. When I arrived to JFK New york on 1/31/17 around 2;30Am.I got in line "non visa" When It was my turn the homeland just ask me "what you have for me?" I showed him my advance parole. I asked if he needed to see my work permit or social. He nicely responded "NO". I had to do finger prints. As well he told me he is going take me to a room US Custom and Border Protection he told me not to get scared that I will be there for five minutes. I waited inside the room where I had to wait for about five minutes to receive my stamp ( advance parole entrance). I was not ask any questions or had to show my work permit or social. It was really quick.
