RFIE - nervous!
Hi all, hope everyone is safe and healthy!
I submitted my docs on April 30th, received my receipt notices on May 12th and today got an RFIE for my I-485. I am trying not to panic but it’s hard! Especially because I double and triple checked the application to make sure we have all the necessary evidence.
I did not submit form I-693. I’m wondering if the RFIE could possibly be because of that? Although sending an RFIE for the medical form doesn’t make much sense.
AOS, spouse is USC.
Here was the text of my notification from USCIS:
On May 28, 2020, we sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number xxxxx
The request for evidence explains what we need from you.
We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires.
Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence.
Any color/advice would be much appreciated!
