Hello all! I'm a first time poster but long time reader on the forum. Thanks for all the help so far! I'm posting so other San Jose filers can see our timeline.
I am a USC applying for my foreign spouse - dated for 3 years, lived together for a year outside the US. Disclosure - we are using an immigration lawyer - not sure if this had an effect on our timeline.
Marriage: May 2017
Concurrent Filing I-485, I-765, I-130, I-131: July 2017
Priority Date: July 3
Biometric Notice: July 24
Biometric Appointment: August 4
RFE: August 16
RFE Evidence Received: September 6
Interview Notice: October 3
Interview Date: November 1
As you can see, my husband has not received his EAD card, and our cases have not been updated online past "evidence received."
My husband and I were prepared to wait nine months for the interview, so we are surprised but excited that we have it so fast.
Please feel free to ask any questions about our application or give advice about the SJ office. I'll let you know after the interview how everything goes!
