Scared to travel
my i485 has been pending since June 2011 after my wife and I went for the interview. I recently applied for Advance Parole to enable me travel to my country which got approved in exactly a month which I am currently waiting for documents to be mailed to me.
Lately I've been reading a lot on the AP and how people get denied entry if they had their i94 expired for more than 180 days. I entered the country in March 2010 with a B1B2 visa my i94 expired in September 2010.My wife petitioned for my i485 in February 2011.My question is Was I out of status from the date my i94 expired till the time we submitted my petition? which is (150 days) or am I out of status till date which will be 2 years plus ,since I am still waiting for a decision to be made on my case. I really want to travel but I am so confused. Please anyone with ideas or experience kindly help
