Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi you all.

Finally i got the notice "your interview was scheduled", but my case is little different. i want to know if anyone has or had experience like that.

I filed for the first time in 2016 everything was fine i had interview my i-30 was approved but i-485 was denied cause they said i was here in 2013 doing bible course and i filed to change my status to religion, but they took almost 2 years to answer me about this case, when i got the final a answer i went back to my country, after that i entry 2 times from the front door, i had no problem with that. but they said i was not able to change my status cause i was here illegal at that time (2013 when i was waiting the answer). Any ways. i hired a lawyer and she said is better file everything again . that what i did. but now my interview is on the corner. So anyone here has or had a similar experience?
