Second interview Newark, New Jersey
Had my second interview earlier today which seems to went pretty well.
After waiting 3 hours I was called to a window and ask by a male officer if I have any joint documents I would like to submit which I did. 15 minuets later he calls us an we enter his room and he sworn us in. He then looked at my daughter and said she makes his job easier which I’m not falling for because the officer says the same at our first interview .
He then told us he’s going to approve my older daughter petition and send it to the national visa center. He asked about a incident I have with the law some years ago and if I’ve gotten in any trouble since then which I responded no. He said he’s has everything to approve us as a legitimate couple but unfortunately it’s going to be a temporary green card because my marriage is still under 2 years and he explained about removing the conditional.
He looks at my daughter,husband and my original birth certificate and passport then took my index finger and said I should get the green card within a few weeks. I asked about the EAS renewal which he stated I won’t need. And the end he gave us a letter case held for review and he’s going to review it and make sure he doesn’t missed anything then he’ll update the system.
Wanna say thanks to everyone on this forum but most of all to @DerLat and @Nobody25. You guys been really really helpful and I really appreciate it.
