Hey everyone, this platform has been very helpful and our interview was yesterday in san Fran.
Overall great experience. Not sure if it’s because sf and how open it is. Security at the front door, was kind, efficient and quick. Our appointment was at 10 and we got there at 9. All the officers were calling cases names with a big smile and everyone was leaving after their interview with a bigger smile. At 10:30, officer named Richard called our names to interview us. Questions were very simple, when, how, where did we meet, etc. we realized how over prepared we were. Never got separated. The officer was smiling all the time and amazed with our story. We didn’t even knew we had that special of a story but he made us feel that way. We left the room at 10:50. We were amazed with how quick, and efficient it was. All what he cared about was our pics together. Only took few of our joint paper work, bank statement, pay stubs and that’s it. No interest in leases, joint insurances etc.
Lastly, we left, and by the time we were home, we got an email saying card is in production for the I-485. However, for the I-130, it say interview was completed and case must be reviewed. We not really sure what that means? Also when can we apply for citizenship? Is it 2yrs from marriage date or from card production date?
