Silly question
Hi everyone,
So I'm embarrassed to say that I have lost our original marriage certificate probably in some Staples around in New York cause I was photocopying it before sending in my application. I have sent the copy of the original one with my application but after I realized I lost it I went back to City Hall and got a certified copy from the clerk's office.
My question is: Would it be an issue during the interview? If I submit the copy as proof and inform the officer that I stupidly misplaced the original?
**Also an update on my case: My RFE was received by USCIS and not the status has changed to: REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE RESPONSE REVIEW"
