Sister's Visit Request Approved
My sister's visitor visa was approved last week.

Sincere thanks to
:a fair Visa process in this case,
:a clear interaction with and by a considerate Visa officer,
:helpful and kind replies by all 3 of you raising my view,
:along with helpful information available on 'immihelp' to get prepared for the appointment.

Not to mention also is the significance of openness and good faith.
______________

Below is approximate narration of her experience:

Crowd outside the consulate is somewhat more organized than in the past, when she used to accompany me for my stamping during last few times.

Security is thorough but rushing and aggressive on the applicants.

Sis (to the man at the counter1 issuing DS156 back to applicants): I have asked for appointment in my Mothertounge.
Man: Ok

Fingerprinting done.
Waiting at the chairs.
Surrounding is little new, but she is fairly composed

Other elderly people sitting next to her, "Beti, can you please let us know if our names are announced... AAA, BBB?"
Smiling, Ok..
.....
...Now her name/number is announced

(Start in English)
Sis: Good morning
Unfortunately VO unable to hear. But my Sis realizes it and is set to speak clearer. She is comfortable.
VO: Name ABD ? (pronounciation error)
Sis: No Sir, it's ABC.
VO: Don't you speak English ?
Sis: I can Sir, but I am not very comfortable with western accent.
VO seems to be considerate in offering time to understand the question, and in offering time for her to speak
(Now interview is in my Mothertounge)
VO:What do you do ?
Sis: I am YYYY ;
VO: how many years of experience do you have
Sis: YY years
VO: Have your parents travelled to US ?
Sis: No
VO: Do they have Visa?
Sis: Yes they do. However YYYY (Reason why ...they have not yet gone to visit)
VO: What does your Brother do ?
Sis: He works for a company AAA.

By tomorrow afternoon, you should have visa couriered to you.
Sis: Thank you (Greets the VO)
...

I go to India every year, and for the first time, my Sis'll be able to see where and how I stay and how the places around are...I am looking forward to my Sis's visit.
