I just got off the phone with an agent, and I was told that we missed our interview.....
On Feb 8th a notice was sent out for our interview and on March 25th we were denied for failure to appear for the interview.
We did do a change of address on Jan 1st and we received a paper notice in the mail that our address was changed on Jan 6th.
It completely baffles me how I did not receive my notice for an interview time in the mail for a scheduled interview. Now I have to file a I-290B to reopen our case.
Why isn't there some sort of tracking number for such an important document that's being sent in the mail? Is there anything I can do to speed this up or are we going to have to wait months for another interview?
