some hope
My husband has been waiting almost 200 days since we submitted the application on June 15th. I contacted my senator and did several service requests. Yesterday I called uscis customer service and asked to speak to a tier 2 officer, but I was on hold for an hour and a half so I gave up. This morning I called again and spoke to a tier 2 officer more quickly. She brought up my husband's case and said that it was recommended for approval yesterday and the approval notice will be sent out shortly. This has been the best news I've heard in months, and I really hope the notice doesn't take too long to arrive. My husband started crying when I told him. It hurt so much to see him so miserable. This is way better than hearing that his case was still "under review". I'm happy to see a little light at the end of the tunnel. I'll update on what happens next once I get any more news. Hang in there everyone!
