Some reassuring timelines from CHIberia
Hello, guys :) I’m a marriage-based AOS filer from Chicago and I have good news for the fellow Chicagoans. They seem to take much less than their processing times from the website, which are 14-37 months. Anyways, my timeline:
•PD – March 7, 2019
•Biometrics letter – March 15, 2019 (scheduled for April 01, but I did a walk-in on Mar. 25)
•Fingerprint review was completed – March 31, 2019
•Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview – April 2, 2019
•Requested EAD expedition – June 14, 2019
•Received EAD card – July 25, 2019 (Lol, I was fighting tooth and nail for this expedition, took me over a month, and 5 days after I received it, they changed processing times back to 2-5 months. Therefore, my PD according to the new timeline, was already outside of processing times and eligible for the service inquiry)
•Interview was scheduled – August 6, 2019. I’m waiting for the letter at this point, and starting to gather all the paperwork I didn’t send with my initial packet, aka getting my original Birth Certificate sent over, digging up my traffic tickets, etc.
