Hi All,
Don't wait for USCIS to file you SSN. I received my EAD combo card on saturday and went straight to the SSA office to file my SSN on monday. They didn't have anything on file for my name even though I selected that option on my paperwork. I will get the SSN within 2 weeks, vs 4-5 weeks waiting for USCIS to file.
Thank you to everyone who recommended doing this, the card will come in half the time.
