My husband needs his social and we don't know what to do anymore its been 4 months and the SSA offices are not opening. is anyone trying to get their first social and they being asked to send all original documents by the social security office? if yes did anyone send their original documents (green card, passport) what happened after that? did they actually give you an appointment? what's the timeline? is it safe? any info about this or advice or experience I would appreciate it.
