Status changed from 'Application Received' to 'Administrative Processing' back to 'Application Received'
Hi,
I want to know if anyone has experienced something similar or know if this is normal -
Dec 29th - 'Application Received' (day of my interview)
On the day of my interview, I was told by the visa officer that my visa was approved and I would receive my passport within a week.
I saw no further updates on the DS-160 tracker until 14th Jan, 2022.
Jan 14th - Case updated but the status still showed 'Application Received'
Jan 20th - I saw yet another case update to 'Application Received'
. I got a call shortly after that from an officer at the consulate to clarify a few things with respect to my case. At the end of the call the officer let me know that my visa was approved and I should receive my passport within a week now.
Jan 20th - After the call my status changed to 'Administrative Processing'
Jan 21st - As I'm checking the status of my case now, my status has changed back to 'Application Received' from 'Administrative Processing'.
