My pd 6/21/19 Newark NJ.
I received my combo card 12/23/19
My interview was 4/23/20 but cancel due to the covid19. Since USCIS reopen I'm waiting for interview rescheduled .
I renew my combo card 10/29/20 and my driver license is expired 12/12/20.
My lawyer said since I renew my combo card so it automatically extended 180 days .so I can get at least 6 months limited term driver license until I get my new combo card .so i went to DMV this morning. They said No. I need a document it say 180 days extended. I'm really frustrated about my situation. I made copied from USCIS website ead card will be extended 180days if it renew before expire and I have receipt for renew my combo card. The supervisor said I can't have 6 months driver license.
I have to try different locations dmv next week. Thats all I can do and my lawyer says same thing. I cried this morning my journey is never ending. Pray everyday and hopefully get my interview coming up soon. I really don't understand why they never got me interview scheduled. So frustrated and lost my faith now.
