Stokes interview?
I need an advice from those who ever received stokes interview letter, what does it say in it?
We had our interview and we received a letter saying that we were approved (marriage based. We were not approved on the spot), but after that we received another letter saying that case was reopened. Another letter was sent directly from the IO who interviewed us to come back next month. The reason for appointment says: to complete processing of application. Weird, I know.
We called uscis and they couldn't see the problem so we were transferred to a level 2 IO who opened a service request. She got back to us and said that while the card was in production they realized they needed another fingerprints from me (?), the last one was taken a year ago. I doubt this is the real reason because then they wouldn't ask me to go to the same place where the interview was held? Right? And in the appointment letter they asked that both applicant and petitioner show up with a state ID or passport. If it's for fingerprints why BOTH of us need to go the same officer who interviewed us?
If anyone has any clue please share your thoughts.
Those of you who received a letter for stokes interview- did they mentioned that it's another interview in the letter? Thanks and good luck to everyone!
