What I have noticed is that whoever sent applications between May and September of 2015 have to wait 1 year after interview for a decision.
Here is my case: June 2015 is PD, interview was on September 8, 2016. As of today my I130 is stuck on case was received, 485 on we scheduled you for interview. On the infopass I was told that my background check is pending. I have no criminal records. During the interview i was asked 3 times, 3 times, if I had any problems with law.
I read some stories where people from NYC with PD of 2016 already got their green cards.
Any ideas? Anybody in the same boat with me? If yes, what is your status of I-130?
There is another interesting thing. I applied for renewal of my combo card on July 29, 2016, I got EAD only, I-131 is still pending. Did 2 service request, they say due to workload there is a delay.
