Succesfull B! Visa
Hi,

I'm giving my Visa Interview experience:

FIrst Step: I stood outside on the pavement close to the entrance gate. There was large que.My Passport and the forms (156 and 157) and the challan (yellow form), web appointment letter are checked. I was then allowed to enter the Consulate building. I was asked whether i'm carrying any mobile phone. (I kept my mobile phone at the hotel room)

Second Step: Just inside there is another security check where all the file/cover (whatever i was carrying) was checked.

Third Step: I entered inside the Consulate Building. One person asked me about my appointment time and based on that showed me to go to a particular counter. At that counter, my passport and the 156,157 forms are checked and then i was given a file containing a paper along with the checked things.

Fourth Step: I went into another building where (once again i told my appointment time) and then (standing in a que) my left and right index fingerprints were taken.

Fifth Step: Interview with Consular officer. I wished the officer "Good morning with a smile". I was asked the following questions as mentioned below:

1. How long were you (working) with this company.
2. Prior to Unisys, where were you working and for how long?
3. What is your total experience
4. What are you going to do in US?
5. How long you intend to stay in US?
6. Are you married?
7. What is per month salary? (She mentioned "Please dont mind if i ask this question")
8. Do you own a house or home?
9. Where do your parents stay?

At the end of the above questions (and replies i had given) she told to pay the Visa fees in WIndow # 1. I was told that my Passport will be couriered in 3 days.

Sixth Step: Again i stood in the que and paid the DD and took the reciept. I was told that my Passport will be couriered in 3 days

That's the end of my Visa Interview.

Thank you,
Patelkhana....
