My Parents got their visitor visa successfully after attending their interview in chennai consulate today.
Pls see the interview details below:
Parents: Good afternoon
VO: Good afternoon, How are you doing
Parents: We are fine, How are you
VO: Iam fine except that Iam very busy
(They gave the documents.)
VO: Where were you working before you retired
Father: I was working in xxxx as xxxxx
VO:How long is your son in the US
Father: xx months
VO: What is he
Father: He is xxxx working for xxxx company
VO: Good.(To my mother)How many kids do you have
Mother: Only one son
VO:Do you own a home
Father: Yes (He was about to take the sale deed documents)
VO: Thats fine. Documents not required
VO: Who is going to take care of your home if you are away
Father: Her parents.
VO: Do you have your parents staying with you
Father: No. Her parents will take care. I have only my mother who is partially dependent on me.
VO:Good. Well, go ahead and make your travel arrangements, you will receive your visa and passport in a few days.
Parents: Than you very much
VO: You are welcome and enjoy your trip.
