Hello everyone,
It is crazy how this forum is so helpful, sometimes more than some “lawyers” out there. I would like to share my case/time line, hopefully you guys can help me clear some questions.
*I came in with a B2 visa back in 2002 (14year old), here since then
*Obtained daca back in 2012
*September 2016 married my girlfriend (usc) after a 5 year relationship
Filed for San Bernardino CA field office (working on June 30, 2016 cases as of Nov 30, 2016)
-Medical with the Gonorrhea requirement sent with applications
-PD 12/8/16
-Biometrics done 1/9/16
-RFE 1/4/17 – Requesting proof for Work permit for the years I supplied my taxes, since my income will be used with my application. (I had only submitted the newest with the app., issued Oct 2016)
-RFE Response received 1/9/17
---- Online Status of forms as of Today (2/10/16)
I-485: On January 9, 2017, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxx. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you.
I-765: On December 8, 2016, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number MSCxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice.
I-130: On December 8, 2016, we received your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number MSCxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice.
Questions:
a) Is it normal that my I-765/I-130 has not changed status since then?
b) How long do they usually takes to get the RFE reviewed?
c) Reading on this forum there are concerns with the new vs old medical exam, I noticed that the form available online will expired 3/31/17, will this means that anyone with appointment after 3/31/17 will be required to retake the exam? (I took mine 12/1/16, with Gonorrhea requirement)
d) At the interview, will there be an issued if I only have a copy of the I-94, not the original since it was returned to origin country embassy by a family member?
