The wait
While I’m grateful to even be one of the lucky few that might get a green card, I must say the wait is what kills you!
It’s like you think about all the what ifs! For those whose status never update online, it’s like living with the unknown. I start thinking “did they lose my application?” “Is someone even working on it?” Like a million questions a day. I try not to compare timelines too much, I just try to appreciate all the advice I see here. It’s also comforting to know you’re not the only one just waiting at the mercy of the USCIS. I really wish they would send a letter here or there saying “we are still working on your case”. Just so that there’s not this radio silence.
