Thing to know about how USCIS will schedule for your interview
Hi All,
I read a lot about AOS then just recognize that this information today. This is for who never know this process. "The NBC notifies applicants of the I-485 interview about six weeks
prior to the scheduled date, and transfers the file to the appropriate USCIS field office approximately
three weeks before the interview".
This means your case is always located at NBC even it shows "ready to schedule for an interview" (my case shows this message for over 5 months and I just found out it is still at NBC. What next, NBC will schedule the interview not Local office, then NBC will send the file to local office before 3 weeks.
