Tier 2 officer
I spoke to tier2 officer to see if they can tell me how long it takes to finalize the I-751 decision. They all are reading a script. He said that the average time is 18 months and it could be longer. I asked about the daily operation at the service centers and I asked specifically Potomac because my case got transferred there on February 5th, 2020. He said that the officer takes in a day and starts to review the case and issue to approve, RFE, Interview or Deny it. He also said the receipt numbers do not generate the first and last example if your case ends 509 and the other is 511 it does not mean my receive that is earlier than 511 the system picks the numbers randomly.
