Adjustment of Status - I-485

K1 entered 19th Dec 2016, paperwork sent in 5th Jan 2017 work auth, advance parole, change of status. Biometrics done 2nd Feb and again Feb 19th (not sure why) On day 75 I requested update on work auth, on day 90 I again requested an update and I was told to wait for a call BUT they are only processing work auth from November 2016. I made an appointment to see an immigration officer.

Myself and my wife went to talk with them on Thursday 13th April. Advised agent that with my career even if work auth is sent out I need to travel with work and I have a job offer lined up. He requested proof and I provided it. He actually called me back later that afternoon and advised me all was taken care of. This morning April 18th both work and multiple advance parole authorization papers were in the mail stating all approved and Multi card will be with me shortly. Not worried about change of status now that I can work and leave the country ..... Last agent very helpful and understanding....
