3/22/18 RD concurrent filing I130, I131, I765, I485
4/24/18 Biometric Appointment
4/18/18 RFE for I485 ( we did not submit I864) that was the date on the letter.
7/13/18 Submit I360 respond to previous RFE ( Request previous I485, I765, I131 added to the new petition)
8/6/18 Received Prima Facie
8/28/18 Received an update stating they began working on my case again.
1/25/19 Case transferred to another office
1/25/19 Case received at my local office
1/28/19 Case transferred and a new office has jurisdiction ( When I received the transfer letter it said “In order to speed up processing we transfer your petition from NBC to VSC “I485, I765, I131. I360 was already at VSC)
1/29/19 Notice of representation was updated. (Only to find out that they added a lawyer from Utah to my case. I’ve never been to Utah, I know nobody in Utah. I had to write a letter and send it to VSC (which my case was transferred to) for them to correct the mistake)

I did 3 out of normal processing time for my I765 and was told because of the RFE my petition was on hold until I responded in July and they began working on my case in Aug. I called my congressman submitting all the information they asked for and they were of no help. Then I realize my PD must have become Aug 28 due to everything that had happened earlier in 2018. In January I wrote a letter to VSC with evidence to expedite I765 no response.

4/16/19 Contacted Ombudsman
4/24/19 USCIS “we have taken an action in your case” (they sent my lawyer a letter to update representative” I guess they did read my letter after all
5/4/19 we have taken an action on your case “Update Representative”
5/15/19 we are reviewing your case and there are no updates (Random..)
5/21/19 we are still reviewing your case and there are no updates (frustrated at this point)
5/28/19 CARD IN PRODUCTION
5/29/19 we are still reviewing your case and there are no updates (almost pulled all my hair out)
5/31/19 NEW CARD MAILED
6/1/19 CARD DELIVERED
Story doesn’t end there... Card wasn’t actually delivered. I almost had a heart attack all weekend. Called the post office 8:30Am (they open at 9) Spoke to someone they search and search and search until they found the letter, only to have lost it again in space of an hour when I got to the post office. The supervisor gave me his personal number so I could call him for updates if I needed, even though he called me with updates. Turns out the lady took the letter and put it on her desk waiting for me to pick it up and someone took it off her desk and did god knows what with it. Ofcourse I had nightmares that night. Called the post office Tuesday 8:30 spoke to another lady she found it placed it in the hold section (swore I was having deja vu) this time I hurried to the post office praying to god I don’t catch a case at the post office lol.

So I got my card on June 5. (Thank God!!)

I has been a real struggle but I’m a fighter.

P.S Card is a combo even though I131 was not updated.
