Timeline
Hi all,

Just wanted to share my experience with everyone. I'm F1 overstayed married to a USC. Field office is Chicago.

PD: July 8th, 2019
Biometrics: August 8th, 2019
Case ready to be interviewed: September 11th, 2019
Interview scheduled: Oct 11th, 2019
Interview date: 11/14/2019
Card is being produced: 11/14/19
We didn't hire a lawyer
Interview went well yesterday. Standard yes/no questions on I130 and I485 were asked. The interviewer also asked us how did we meet and when did the relationship become romantic. She also asked me if there's any extra new evidence that I gathered ever since I submitted my AOS package. She also checked out my photo album. I had about 150 pictures in it. She studied the majority Xeroxed ones already that were inside the package before we came in. She studied our case pretty well that I feel like talking to a friend who has known us for a long time. The interview lasted about 15-20 mins. She didn't approve us on the spot. She told us that we can expect our final decision in the mail in the next 2 weeks. 20 mins after we got out of the USCIS building, she approved us. I got a notification online says "new card is being produced." Today around 11am my online status changed to "case approved"

Good luck everyone and hang in there.
