(THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG) ♥
I want to share a bit of my experience, I have been a silent reader during the time that my case lasted and I want to help whoever can serve as they have been to me.
I came to USA in October 2019 with my b1 / b2 visa and married a citizen in November, just one month later. (we were in a relationship since the beginning of the year and we had traveled together etc)
I sent my package on December 30, 2019, I did not use any help or lawyer, I just did my research and managed it alone. This is the timeline of my case that in total had a duration of 16 months.

During the process I moved from Arizona to Florida, my interview was on March 30 at the Orlando office, the officer separated me from my husband from the beginning and interviewed him first, then he came back for me and asked me several questions about our trips, jobs and family, to see if our answers agreed, our answers were 100% the same because we prepared very well before going and did a complete review of our relationship to date (my advice is to do the same with your partner the night before the interview and review the most important and everyday events of your relationship).
At the end of the interview and despite the fact that I had a huge folder full of supporting documents, taxes, bank statements, screenshots, a complete album of photos with family and friends etc, the officer only asked me if we had a rental contract, I showed it to him and he said he would keep it. Then he said that he would not need any other documents from us, that he already had enough and did not even ask what we had in the folder, he told us that we would know about them in about 2 weeks and that was it.
the total interview lasted about 40 min since we were separated. Every day until today I was going crazy without knowing an answer because we were not approved in the spot. With the experiences of this forum and being a young couple who have barely been married for a year, without children or a lot of history in common to show, I was worried about being in a wait for months without knowing anything about uscis, as has been the case of many , but in the end it took exactly one month for them to approve my case and now I am waiting for my conditional green card.
Thank you all very much for sharing your experiences and I wish you the best of luck, do not be discouraged and have hope until the end.
(As additional information, I received my EAD combo card on 07/20 and on 12/20 I traveled to my country, Colombia, using Advance parole without any problem upon re-entry, in February I sent my package to renew my EAD that would expire in June of this year and I received the new card in 23 days, no kidding, it took less than a month for them to send me the new card.)
Blessings.
