4/22/2021 - Received email from VFS stating received your application and your application is now under process at Chicago
4/22/2021 - Status in VFS tracking shows Your application is being verified and currently under process at the VFS Indian Consular Application Centre
4/26/2021 - Status in VFS tracking shows Your Application has been ‘Processed’ at the VFS India Consular application Centre and currently is ‘In-Transit’ to the Embassy of India/Consulate General of India for decision making.As soon as VFS India Consular application Centre receives an update, the status on the ‘Track and Trace’ page will be revised accordingly. To ‘Track and Trace’ please visit: https://visa.vfsglobal.com/usa/en/ind/track-application and use Government reference number ( ARN, File Reference number) to get the updated status of your application.
4/26/2021 – Received Text and email from VSF stating your application has been processed at the VFS and currently is In-Transit to the Embassy for decision making
4/26/2021- Status in VFS tracking shows Your application has reached at the Embassy/Consulate and is currently under review process
4/27/2021- Indian Gov website shows the Date of Acknowledgment
5/21/2021- Documents printing status-Processed, Dispatched from MEA OCI New Delhi on Indian Gov Website
5/26/2021- received email and text from VFS stating Your application has been reviewed by the embassy of India/consulate of general of India and will be dispatched using the courier service you had opted.
5/26/2021 – VFS website status changed too. Your Application has been reviewed by the Embassy of India/ Consulate General of India & will be dispatched using the courier service you had opted.
5/26/2021 – Fedex deliver the OCI card
It took 38 days from Delivered documents at VFS to OCI Card delivered to us.
