Tips to help make the wait easier
Hi Everyone,

Stressing, worrying, crying,.......doesn't make our case come through faster and though we all know that we still do it don't we?? Someone might even suggest think positive and pray. Yes prayer gives solace and comfort but we are humans and often can get so depressed we cannot even find the words to pray. But always remember God's timing is never when we want it but rather it comes when we NEED it, so continue to pray and fast if you can.

And while you do that here are a few other things to do:
1. Exercise and meditate helps to calm your spirit (especially if you waiting on EAD and you have all the time in the world, take an hour each day to workout, at home or apartment gym or walk at the nearest park, whatever works for you. This is a win win, you are easing stress and getting healthy at the same time)

2. Join a community group and volunteer, these go along way to put on resume later, right?

3. Want to further your studies? Now is the time to research college/university and checkout which program interest you.

4. This should have been #1- if you believe in god go to church and socialize. You be surprised who you meet there, kind hearted people who take time out of their day to check in on you and encourage you, potential reference for jobs?....possibilities are endless.

5. I could go but basically what am saying is to find other things to occupy your head space besides immigration wait.

6. Instead of seeing the glass half empty look at it as being half full. Meaning each day that past don't see it as "darn it yet another day past and nothing" but rather " oh well I guess I'm one day closer to hearing some news". Sometimes no news is good news, right now everyday past and I don't see a letter in the mail I'm honestly sad but quietly thinking thank goodness I don't see a RFE in there.

7. For those having rough time with their USC husband/wife just continue to do the best you can to push through and know God is watching and his punishment to man is always just. Don't allow your spouse or his family or whomever is the devil's advocate in your way to harden your heart. So not worth it.

God bless us all as we continue to wait!!!

This is a quote I thought of one day when I was deep down in the dark....."Whatever life throws at me, if I can't catch it, I will brace myself for the hit." Words that to today gives me a sense of comfort that soon I'll look back and instead of bringing up the struggles I'll just SMILE because I SURVIVED!!!
