TODO :: Update SSN after receiving GC
Probably most of you know this already but posting for those like me. I had no idea and found out by chance, one month after receiving my GC.
After you get your GC and if you already have an SSN card, go to an SSN office and have your card updated. It can take up to 2 weeks to get the new SSN.
Take following with you : current SSN, photo ID (I used my passport), GC, 2 bills or any other proof of address (I didn't have a valid driver's license, maybe that is enough).
