Transit through London (Travelling from USA to India through London) with Expired Green Card - Do I need Transit Visa for London?
Hi All,

I am bit confused and would help some help from the community. My scenario:

I am an Indian Citizen working in the USA. I have a Expired Green Card (through spouse) and have applied to "remove conditions on Green Card" and have received I-797 which states that my Green Card validity is extended for 2 years and I can travel using the document. My question:

1. In April, I am travelling to India through UK (London). I have a air-side transit and won't go through border control - meaning I will land in Terminal 5 in London (from USA) and then in 3 hours will catch connecting flight to India through the same Terminal 5.

Do I need to get a Direct Airside Transit Visa? Or, I don't need any Visa as I have Green card and supporting I-797.

Is there anyone who has travelled with similar situation? If you can shed some light I would appreciate that. Thank you!
