Travel Experience
I had my dilemmas before traveling for a short trip to India(1week), even though it's my second time using AP to travel.
Felt like sharing my experience, so that it will be helpful to others.
Landed in Philly via Doha (Feb 2nd, 2025)
- Immigration officer asked general questions and asked me to give all the paperwork I have (I was holding 485 and 131 approval notices). He asked me to go to secondary inspection.
After 1hr and multiple officers looking at my folder, they came back and told me everything looks good (no questions were asked). For some reason they took longer to verify my documents, compared to others. I was the last one to leave the room.
So, in summary it's safe to travel using AP. Don't think too much. Just make sure that there is enough time between connecting flights, if you have one. I had 3hrs between connecting flights and made it 15mins before boarding.
