ugh
hi everyone,
I submitted my application in December 2019. married in Nov 2019 (but with my husband since 2013). I was here on a F1 visa and just graduated in December. So I have a question I received an RFE on Feb 1st asking for my birth certificate, my husband's most recent tax transcript (both of which I had already sent :( ), and proof of legal work for me, as I added my income since my husband had not been working lately and wasn't making enough to meet the 125% requirement.
The RFE letter asked for an unexpired EAD. I sent a copy of mine, however mine expired last month. Also I have a job offer letter which I also included. I had just called them to expedite my EAD when the next day they sent me an email saying they couldn't process my request as I was getting a RFE and everything will be on hold.
My question is: do you think it will be okay? Or because my EAD expired last month they won't accept it?
I just hope I don't get denied. My husband's dad is more than happy to be a joint sponsor if needed, but I thought I could just add my income....
What do you guys think?
