USA - B2 Visitor Visa Interview Experience
Hi Guys,

This website has helped me in preparing for my Visa interview. I am sharing my experience as well. Fortunately, my visa is approved.

Visa Type and Purpose: B2 Visitor Visa for attending sibling's graduation ceremony.
My profile: Working professional in Mumbai for last 3 years. Have traveled to Europe earlier on Student Exchange program. Never traveled to US earlier.
Documents carried: Graduation letter from University, Letter from my employer stating no objection and approved leave for the intended travel period, Bank statement with sufficient funds, others.

VO: Why do you want to visit US?
Me: My sister is graduating next month. I would like to attend her graduation ceremony.
VO: Which University?
Me: Told her the university name
VO: Why are you applying from Mumbai? (My passport is issued in my home city which is not Mumbai. I suppose that's why the question.)
Me: I am working here in Mumbai. So, it is convenient for me to apply from here.
VO: Your Visa is approved. Thank you.

It hardly lasted for about 30 seconds. I was kind of surprised at such a short period and only 3 questions. VO didn't ask for any document from me other than the passport.

I have got 10 year multiple entry Visa with type as B1/B2
