Hello Fam,
Need your thoughts/suggestions here. So my PD is Oct 5th 2020, Jacksonville FO and have not received my Biometric appointment yet.
I need to go to my home country in December to bring my parents to US and to deal with some personal family issues( nothing extremely urgent but I have to be there)
I'm on my H1-B with my stamping expired(but with valid status till 2023) and the consulates across are closed so cannot use my H1 for reentry and not sure if this comes under abandonment of my GC application.
I currently filed for AOS spouse sponsored, so my question is, can I put in a expedite request for travel document?,
I do not want this request to be rejected and raise a red flag in my case as I cannot provide any documentation that I have to be in India apart from telling them that I need to be there to bring my parents here(they both have valid visa's and traveled to US before)

I just need the travel document as I'm employed and I'm not in urgent need of EAD at all!
