USCIS Lied, I-485 Processing Time Further Delayed
Just checked the processing time for form I-485 in most USCIS field offices. It spiked by an additional 6 months. Not only that, but US senators wrote a letter to the DHS secretary, which oversees USCIS, about how USCIS is not facing a budget crisis but is still choosing to go forward with the furloughs.
Let me recap. USCIS is actually experiencing a SURPLUS but still insourced production of immigration documents like green cards and EADs and wants to furlough most of its workforce.
I am honestly speechless at this point.
