USCIS MISTAKE
The administrative mistake cost me my time and more money.. long story short ..filed for AOS 2016 DEC 21.almost after a year-long wait I got a denial notice stating MY CASE IS DENIED (ABANDONED ) for not attending the interview.
1.i changed my address and notified uscis ..called the useless uscis customer service.
2.each time i called them asking for the processing time they repeat its within the processing time.
3.went for an info pass and they admitted to sending my interview notice to the old address.
4.hired a Lawyer filed for i290b form case status changed to CASE HAS BEEN REOPENED.
Is their anyone in the same situation? Replies Appreciated
