USPS Returned Interview Notice by Mistake - please help
Please help if you have faced a similar experience. USPS by mistake refused to deliver an I-485 interview notice (Seattle FO) because my wife's name was written on the side of the box. We only got the PO Box so that we have a mailing address that doesn't change. They apologized for that but now I'm stuck in limbo and do not know when the interview was scheduled for.
I got a notice saying the interview scheduled on Feb 9... i waited and waited and on Mar 3, I received a notice saying USPS returned the interview notice letter. I submitted a request to have the notice resent but I still have not heard back and I don't know if the interview date will pass before I actually know the date. Calling USCIS tier 1 and 2 didn't help as they said they don't have access to the information.
Please help by answering any of the following questions
- In these cases, does the FO reschedule me right away or do they make me wait a while?
- Is there any other way to find out the interview date other than just waiting for them to resend the letter?
