Interview 2pm.
Got there 1:50 PM
Names called after waiting 45 mins
A lady escorted us to her office
Swore us in
Ask for both birth certificates
Ask for My passport who's the applicant
Ask me to verify our address
Ask if we had any kids
My wife has a child and I have a child plus one on the way
Ask my wife who's the us born citizen, how we met (office asked for details)
Ask for joint documents (gave her utility bill, bank statement and life insurance)
Then after that, she ask the yes and no questions
We were in and out in 5 minutes
She never approved us on spot but stated that we should receive a decision in a couple of weeks
When we excited the building I check my status online and he stated card been produce
We brought other documents but she never cared about them and I even told her about them but she said no, it's ok. We brought a picture album and she just quickly scanned through them.
We received the card and welcome 6.29.16
I have been on the forum almost every day reading people story and it gave me hope, I must say thanks for those who post here because it gives people a sense of hope.
All I can say is be patience, prepared and in everything u do pray and ask christ for his continued help. Good luck to all of u out there.
