Anybody been waiting for more than a year?
In a couple of days it will be 1 year and 1 months since I filed my case. To be exact it was on June 15, 2015. I got my combo card on October 1 2015. Sine then no update. My case status has stock on "we got your finger print fee" and that's it. I have not even been scheduled for an interview. I had service request, which says that my case is awaiting interview in my local filed office, which is NYC.
Anybody with the same priority date? Anybody waited longer than me?
I know that some people from NYC who applied in September/October already got their green cards. It seems to me whoever filled in the summer got the officers who were on vacation and our cases sitting on the shelves and nobody gives a damn about us. I think I will have to apply for new work permit and I would need to do new medical exam.
I heard infopass is useless. Any ideas why security background check is taking so long?
